Who is the better arch sage, not the best, cause everyone will say Soren. Who is better Bastian or Pelleas? I'm on the last fight before the endgame, 4-E, and right now the only ones who won't die and I want to use are Elincia, Volke, Tibarn, and Marcia, and I think I need one more, and I want a sage to help me. Bastian would be smarter since I wouldn't have to use any Bxp on him, but I think Pelleas may be better since he has so many tomes already and is a king after all.

I would say Pelleas, he has dark and thunder, which are good. Bastian has wind, which is the best, but doesn't he have crap stats(I don't remember). I would use Pelleas regardless, he brings a new thing to the team, dark magic.

I would actually say that Bastian might be a little better than Soren. His default group desperately needs heavy magic, and Bastian comes in at the perfect time.

And use Bastian. It would take almost 10,000 BEXP to get Pelleas to his level, and those levels wouldn't be normal level.

Yeah, I saved and tried Pelleas, amd he took all of my 40k bxp to get to 20/20/19, but he did cap everything except strength and luck. I'm gonna use Bastian and even have 2 sages in my 4-E

Pelleas is better if you get him to Bastian's level, but I always find them both useless.
