Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII
by Justin Pinter
Orignally released on the Xbox 360, Xbox, and PC, Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII has now been announced for the PS3. Ubisoft announced the game as a launch title for both PS3 and Wii back in August.
Since the announcement, Ubisoft has released some new details on what will be updated and added to the game. The first thing to be added will be the utilzation of motion control in the PS3's new tilt feature. In addition, Ubisoft stated that we should expect to see graphical improvements in terms of terrain, effects, water, environment treatment, and perception filtering. Also there will be 10 new planes available including the famous British "Mosquito" and German "Komet."
Among other additions, there will be new missions, new camera views, and new modes for offline and multiplayer. It's still unclear how Sony will be running their online network but Ubisoft stated that you will be able to play with up to 16 players online.
Outside of features, the games storyline follows four Americans who enroll in the Royal Air Force at the start of World War 2. As soldiers of the Eagle Squadron, they progress to become the American Air Force elite pilots and fly in all the major operations of the World War II, from the Dunkirk Evacuation to the Battle of Britain, from Pearl Harbor to the Rabaul Raids, from D-Day to the Battle of Berlin.
Once again, expect to see this title at the launch of the PS3 this November.
