I had just defeated Bowser ad Rosalina was going blah blah baby stars blah blah blah and then it said the game disc could not be read! Do I have to do it over?! I think I might cry! -------------------

What I do is eject the disc, wipe it off, and put it back in. Then you can usually just pick up right where you left off. ------------------- | |

Most likely the disc was scratched in that exact position, or if the game is burnt from a ROM, the ROM file was corrupted. Happened to me once on GTA Vice city as well. It was so annoying that I quit playing. | |

You know the same problem happened to me once in a different game. What I did was eject the disc then wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. If that doesn't work return it to the store and get a nother copy of SMG. | |
