I don't think Super Mario Galaxy needs a sequel. As the plot was finished in the original game.
But, I cannot doubt Miyamoto's imagination. I can see him putting Toad, Peach and maybe Yoshi as playable characters. | |

Wow, so soon? If only Square Enix would do that with the Kingdom Hearts games.

Wow, another Mario, and another Zelda? That's sounds dandy and all, but lets not forget about Kirby, Starfox or any of those guys huh? What ever Nintendo thinks, just boggles me.

I doubt it'll actually be a direct sequel to Galaxy. Just another game in the Super Mario series.

They will need to put some good effort into this sequel. I don't want just another Mario game. Put effort into it Nintendo! Release it on December 31st!

Hopefully it will be more like a Sunshine sequel instead, with blue coins, everything on land, lots of exploration, and higher difficulty. Maybe even a variation of FLUDD or some other invention.
 I also liked TP more than SMG, so I am naturally awaiting the new Zelda more. ------------------- | |

GODS SAKE do we really need a sequel?! I love you Miyamoto but seriously tone down the mario. This was a good game, but tbh I doubt I would buy the sequel. Its probably because I've grown out of platformers, but I think this game was overhyped lol. Besides, I'm way more excited for Wii Fit

I'm not surprised by the annoucement of another LoZ game, theres usually two Zelda games per console(Nes-LoZ/AoL,GB-AoL/Oracles, 64-OoT/MM, GC-4SA/WW, GBA-4S/MC). I hope they have the zelda game with a long lenght, maybe have as many regions as SMG has galaxies.
As for a new SM I'm shocked because they usually only have one 3-D mario game per console. I kinda hope they make it more styled after 64, this one was a bit to different. -------------------
