	FORUM RULES Hello, and welcome to the Super Mario Galaxy forum rules page. Please take the time to read them before posting, otherwise your post/thread may be deleted or closed and you may be banned or placed on a Posts Per Day (PPD) limit. Keep in mind that many of the rules posted here are also rules enforced around the entire site. Forum Rules No Spamming Spamming is the posting of useless information, which includes all off-topic, incorrect, indecipherable, and unhelpful posts. Always make sure you are posting in the correct thread. Double-check your sources when posting information; incorrect info is misleading and may be deleted. Try to make your posts clear, using proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Don't just post for the sake of posting; make sure your posts have actual meaning. Replies such as "lol" or "yeah me too" are often considered spam and may be deleted. No Flaming Flaming is the purposeful insulting or offending of any member or guest. Name-calling is not allowed. If you have a disagreement with another member, it is fine to debate, just don't make it into a huge flame fest. They do not benefit anybody. Temporary or even permanent bans may be used as a punishment for such childish behavior. No Memberating Basically, don't tell other members what to do. That's the moderator's job. No Advertising Pretty self-explanatory. Do not post or link to advertisements or other forums websites. Any offenders will be dealt with. No Profanity Do not swear excessively or use inappropriate language. Any offenders will be dealt with. No Illegal or Inappropriate Content Discussion of ROMs, emulators, key generators, illegal downloads, and anything of the sort is strictly prohibited. Posting or linking to pornography is also a serious offense. Any members or even guests found guilty of breaking this rule will be banned from the forum and possibly the entire site. No Ban Bypassing If you are banned or placed on a PPD restriction, under no circumstances may you use other accounts or even guest accounts to bypass them. When discovered, offenders will have their accounts and IP addresses permanently banned. Forum FAQ "Can I create a game thread or General Discussion?" No, you must have permission from a moderator before starting one of these threads. "How do I sticky a thread or give it a custom title?" Sorry, but this function is only available to moderators. "Why was my post/thread deleted or closed?" Most likely because you have either broken a rule or the thread has reached 30 pages. "What do I do if someone is breaking the rules?" Do NOT reply to it. Just simply press the "report" button in the lower right area of the post. If you are member level 5 or above, you may choose to hide the post from view so that other members cannot see it. Please only do this if the post contains offensive material. If it is urgent or not reportable, see below for a list of moderators you can PM. "I need help with the game. Can I make a thread about it?" I would suggest checking the Video Index first. It contains videos on how to collect all of the power stars. If you still need help, making a thread is fine, but just make sure you give enough information and are clear with your words. That way it will be easier for us to help you. *"What about making threads that aren't* asking for help?" That is fine, as long as you're sure it's not a duplicate thread or a GD/game thread. You should always check a few pages back, or look at the Thread Index below. "What do I do if I have a question?" Well if it's about the site, then you may want to visit the Site Help Forum. If it is about the Super Mario Galaxy forum, then PM one of the available moderators. Please PM gotenks992 first though, as he is the section moderator. 	Thread Index What is this thread and what is it used for? Using this 'Thread Index', you'll be able to quickly navigate through the many threads in this forum that you want to know about or visit. There will be a description of each one as well as a link to that thread. It is best to look at this thread before making a new thread, just in case it has already been created. How does this thread work? It's actually pretty simple. Below, you'll see different titles with different content in them. They will each show threads of different genres.
