	I've snagged me a Desert Eagle earlier than it's unlocked in the game for purchase. There's probably an earlier time to do it as well but this is the first time I've seen it. I was doing the Police Vigilante missions on Alonquin or whatever it's called, where you respond to crimes in your cruiser (not the Most Wanted) and one of the Criminal on Foot missions sent me to an alleyway. I went in with the cruiser and saw the guy, I was about to run him down and he shot my windscreen with a strange sounding pistol, so I immediately floored it and rammed him into the wall, then got out and collected my Desert Eagle. ------------------- "Stay with me! 	It's the first option on the police cruiser, something like "View Current Crimes", then just pick one and the cruiser's siren and lights will come on and a red waypoint to the crime in progress. Just keep responding to them til you get it. I didn't know you could even get one during them, I was just trying to get the XBOX achievement for 20 crimes solved. ------------------- "Stay with me! 	No, but it'll convert all your pistol rounds into DE ammo. I had about 1500 so I'm not running out any time soon and it punches like a pump action shotgun at close range, so unless you're a cock eyed bleep, you should be good to go. ------------------- "Stay with me! It's all about the difficulty gradient. If you get the powerful guns earlier than intended, missions that were intended to be "hard" are substantially easier. Anyway, you can get around the ammo problem by maxing out the gun that will be upgraded, such as the Glock 17 or whatever shitty gun that is that you have to start with, get maximum ammo for that before you get the Desert Eagle and it all converts over. ------------------- "Stay with me!
