I believe that was just a list of guns that he thought might fit into the game nicely. It would, however, be a nice selection to chose from. If anything, those pistols should make it.

Personally I would be happy with one pistol, one uzi, one rifle, one sniper rifle, a couple machine guns..basically one of every weapon. Let's face it. The developers add lots of weaponary into a game and you notice that about 10 of the weapons are just about the same with small difference. Kinda pointless. But none the less I'm sure most you gamers prefer to have a "wide selection".

Though I really don't know much about this sort of thing, I just can't see too many guns in your selection.

Come to think of it. I doubt that they will waste too much time and effort into a very wide selection of weapons. It's uniqe and interesting enough that they have firearms and more traditional weapons coming together in a very nice way.

i don't know that they are going to go so realistic with the choice of weaponry though. i mean, they added a samurai sword to the game. what gangs (even the ones in tokyo) would use a samurai sword?

i think they are just going to do what makes the game fun and not what's realistic

Also, and perhaps much more interesting, the sword could be used for stealth missions. It's a fast and quick one-hit-kill. Although, it obviously can't behead somebody if there's no blood in the game.

It would also make for an extremly fun multiplayer game. Imagine chasing 7 other guys around with swords not knowing who's behind you at any time.

It also occured to me that, because you aim with one control and steer with the other, that it would make body control and gun fire excelent. It would at least allow more control then any other hand held control we've had so far.

that's one reason i want this game. because the controls are going to be so slick... i hope.

I seriously hope there's no lag between your swing and the swing in the game. If there is that would bring down it gameplay by quite a bit. Knowing Nintendo, I think this will be a quality title so I'm not worried.

Maybe you should discuss that in the controls thread?

Well, the blast from guns in this game aren't exaggerated. I don't think we'll be experiencing any rumble in the Wiimote unless it's something extremely powerful.
