Those are awesome twi. Looking at them gives me the sudden urge to go and replay OoT. Anyways, that is what we should do when the next LoZ game is announced and the forum made. We all come back together, and revert to our old avys, sigs, and that stuff.

re: GD: XXXIII: [On Topic]

You know, torn, that's a really good idea. We should do that. I'm sure the Zelda series isn't done yet, so they are eventually going to announce a new game. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Wow, that cel-shaded Ocarina of Time looks really interesting. Are they just renders, or is it from a fan-made remake?

Sign me up!

And Gogetenks, those screens are actually from a mod that replaces the textures in OoT with cel-shaded textures. You can play the entire game like that, it's pretty cool. I might get into trouble if I go into anymore detail, haha.

I'm in. Just let me change my avatar. Do I still have to be a n00b to be like I was back then?

twi, that mod sounds awesome. This is pretty random, but I've never finished OoT. =/

Yep, it just rotated.

Yes, and you have to change back to your original username.

And wow, how did you not finish the greatest game ever created?

Those pics are really well done. Though, they need to learn how to spell 'attack'

Yay, then it is settled. I am lucky since I don't really have to change my avy. I just need to remember my sig. >_<

Anyways Taint, you really should finish the game, it was the best of the series in my opinion, and definitely worth it. Finish it! Accomplissez-le! Πλήρης αυτό! Führen Sie es durch! それ を完了 しなさい!

re: GD: XXXIII: [On Topic]

Yeah, everybody needs to play OoT once through in their lifetime.

I for some reason never got into WW, but my roommate insists that I play it through. The castle in the beginning was a royal pain in the ass (mostly because I threw a pot of the sticks off of the spotlight place, and had to save and reset to get the sticks to respawn [I had also somehow thrown the guy's stick off as well]), but now I have the Wind Waker and all is well.

re: GD: XXXIII: [On Topic]

You realize that if you would have just held your shield out, the monster would lose his stick after a while of trying to hit you and then you could of ran and grabbed it, killed the monster with it, no resting involved.

Anyways, WW was a decent game, not the best, but certainly not bad. You really should finish it.

Vote for Shane

re: GD: XXXIII: [On Topic]

Isn't just entering a building enough for the items outside to respawn?

Personally, I absolutely love Wind Waker. Like all Zelda games, it starts off a bit on the slow side, but after you finish the Fortress area, the game is amazing. I just love exploring the Great Sea in search for any islands I haven't charted yet. The combat system is also very fun, and I loved how you could pick up enemy weapons. That's something that I hope will return, and be expanded upon, in the next Zelda game.

Wind Waker is definitely among my favourite Zelda titles to date. In terms of raw fun, I'd have to say it is perhaps the best. I especially loved the sidequests in Wind Waker. It's rare for games to have such enjoyable sidequests.

I would strongly recommend finishing it, the game gets much better after beating the fortress.

re: GD: XXXIII: [On Topic]

Yeah, I just finished up Dragon (Dragoon?) Roost Island, and I'm quite pleased. It took me a bit to get back into the 'Zelda puzzles' swing of things, but I'm absolutely loving the game now.

I played a fair amount of Phantom Hourglass, and I really liked the sailing around / treasure-hunting aspect in that, so I'm expecting wonderful things from WW.

Don't worry, it only gets better from there.

Anyways, my prized Brawl snapshot.
