It seems we have a dilemma on our hands. We can't have an off topic GD because we don't have a forum moderator and we can't have a forum moderator because the forum can be handled by the section moderator and the forum can be handled by the section moderator because the forum is mainly kept alive by off topic GDs. Now do you people believe there is a conspiracy going on?

I would like to see a direct sequel to TP, but I don't see how they would do it. Since the story kinda ends for good at the end of TP.

Wo, I just had an incredible feeling of nostalgia about playing TP right after I got my Wii. How much fun that was, oh my God. I don't know if I'll ever have that much fun again gaming.

I think they could made a sequel, it's been a year so I'm sure they'll release SOMTHING!!

I think it would be pretty cool if TP had a sequel to it. But as well I'd much prefer just a new Legend of Zelda game.

I don't think Twilight Princess would need a sequel, really. Doesn't a Link to the Past pick up after it, anyway? I'd rather a brand-new Zelda. Hopefully one with a darker, more mature feel than any Zelda before it. Still Teen rated, nothing more, but a generally darker feel in a more devastated world. One where you actually see how horribly Ganon has affected Hyrule. I also want a larger overworld, more towns and hopefully a more epic feel to the overworld. I want the large, open sections like Twilight Princess had, but I also want things like pathways through forests, caves and generally more diverisity. Areas where you follow different paths. Also, a lower camera angle and hills that you can't see over would make the area feel larger than a high camera that exposes large sections of it.

Also, I'd like a deeper story. Something RPG-quality. Supposedly, Miyamoto is not a big fan of stories, but a few other directors at Nintento are and I hope they can get something good in the next Zelda. Something surprising, with major plot twists (and please, for the love of god, allow us to skip cutscenes. I tend to play games multiple times). Perhaps we could get a new villian this time, too. Oh, and I don't think Zelda should have actual voice acting, but I think it would be great if they spoke in Hylian, sort of like how Midna spoke in Twilight Princess.

The current Zelda formula has worked great for over a decade, but now it's time to shake it up a bit. New combat mechanics, darker atmosphere, a completely unique overworld (perhaps a few more developed, Victorian styled towns could work out nicely) and other new additions without losing sight of what Zelda is all about. That is what I'd like to see.

*sigh*...
