re: Resident evil 5: Alternative Edition |

I read up until "survivor horror game" then I automatically vomited on my computer rupturing my liver from poison by these words.
So basically it's RE5 with motion controls and an extra chapter that's more than likely an hour or so that should have been in the -- hell it should have been the game or at least DLC. So basically it's gonna be worse. The only thing worth getting into is the Flashback, but knowing capcom and being realistic, it will probably add at least an hour maybe less into the game. GET YOUR MOTION CONTROLS OUT OF MY GAME. I DO NOT CARE HOW SENSITIVE AND REALISTIC PS3MOTE AND NATAL ARE THEY DO NOT BELONG IN RE5 AND HAVE NO REASON TO BE. This is the start of the shovelware fad. Now the wii will breathe and actually pull out some good games while 2011 will be riddled with shit for PS3/360 users everywhere. (good thing 2010 is kicking ass already) ------------------- DON'T CLICK ME! CLICK THIS!

Looks like im going to be shattering resident evil 5 and then slitting my wrists with the shards so i dont have to endure a game that sounds more painful to play than any other game.
Resident evil with motion controls. I want to blow nintendo up for thinking up this garbage.

What I think sucks is that theyve eagerly listened to what it is we fans want.......
and then they went and slapped it on an actual retail game and bumped the price back up to what the original RE5 probably costed when it was first released. So basically, guys like me who dont want to miss a thing are gonna be forced to fork out another 35 quid, dollars, yen, whatever the hell kinda currency were using. Thats 70GBP altogether. I cant be throwing cash around like that during a reccession. screw this. EDIT: plus a further 5 pounds I used to buy versus mode. SO yh, 75 quid. Youtube Lets plays ftw. Thats probably what i'll be using for RE storyline info from now on. On a side note, I wonder if capcom will be smart and kind enough to release the spencer cahpter as DLC, kinda like a reverse of whats happening with GTA 4 : Stories from Liberty City. ... Nah. I doubt it. ------------------- ![]() Diamond FC: 0044 8832 4904 Gamertag: Elmarcoz

What's with all the motion control bashing? If you ask me I think it's far easier to control a game like that as it was when I played RE4 Wii Edition. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to buy this, but I'm personally sold. A chance to play as Jill in a story is a win situationn.

Motion controls for the sake of motion control is always bad and this seems what its going to be like.I didnt enjoy motion control RE4 as much as the normal version. I completed the game slower and enjoyed it alot less. No problems with the aiming it was more the wiis controls they just dont feel decent or suited to the game.
I dont mind motion control games as long as i dont see heaps of trashy gimmick games throwing themselves onto my system.

This is just an incredible cash gab. Sony said that its motion remote can be used with almost all their games since release by just patching it up. The new Jill scenario can easily be put up as dlc and we wouldnt have to wait so long for it. Even then it wouldnt used new enemy coding so we'll just be fighting the same majini with a new animation or 2 and different skins. That said Sony didnt always plan to make a motion controller, so if a game was made without any previous knowledge of a future motion controller could simply be updated to feature the new controls then this is just a useless game that only serves to make money rather than please fans. *bleep*. you. cap. com. ------------------- DON'T CLICK ME! What the *bleep* was that about?
Capcom really needs to listen to what the fans are complaining about. Unfortunately, the next RE game is exactly what I have expected ever since 7 months ago. A copy of RE4 and somehow will end as a screw-up. We do not want to pay again just for a mission to kill crack addicts and it would be 99% based on an RE5 mission with the only difference being the character having a Jill skin.

If the Spencer Estate was released as a DLC, I would imagine that it would cost $10. I certainly hope it will be released as DLC. *fingers crossed*
