We followed up with a couple folks about the on camera slip of the tongue, starting with Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime. Discussing our Executive Pop Quiz, in which we asked Nintendo Corporate Affairs VP Denise Kaigler if Resident Evil 5 was getting a Wii version, Mr. Fils-Aime fired back with a "Not yet!" and a laugh that left us more confused than when we started the question. 	Well this doesn't surprise me, i sort of expected it seeing with 4 being on it though not so early.

	Wow, I'm not really surprised. Though I don't want it to be, but look at Dead Rising. All tuned to the minimum just to fit it on the Wii..however it'll rock, since it's Dead rising. But Resident Evil 5? No! -------------------

	I wouldn't argue if this did happen. I would however be slightly curious as to why they would spend so much time (firstly) and money downgrading the game and porting it over to the Wii. Capcom have always (to say the least) been friendly with Nintendo, but this would still come as a shock to me. I'm personally doubting it, and I'm just hoping to God that this doesn't in any way delay the PS3/360 release.

	I think they will probably make a watered down half-port half-spinoff for Wii, like they just did with Dead Rising.

	Resident Evil 4 held up well. but come on people who own a Wii wont experience the full RE5 experience.

To put RE4 on Wii is to make it better. (the graphics of GC with the extras of PS2) However to put RE5 (a game that excels and yes capcom likes beautiful games meaning an especially beautiful game here) on an inferior (power wise) will just make things worse. A new fleshed out RE made only for wii please not just ANOTHER port.....or a mix there of. ------------------- DON'T CLICK ME! CLICK THIS!
