first of all it cost the developers alot of money to put the graphics in the game, more than anyone has ever done! yes, this may be the killer of all games and will show off the true power of ps3. so far the games are CRAP and dont show off the graphics of ps3 eg fall of man,vertial fighter and amoured core. the graphics suk and not effective on the player. take that developers:P

Yeah though by the time Killzone 2 comes out games like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and Metal Gear 4 which all show off the PS3's power will be out so Killzone 2 as much as i love it won't look as impressive as it once did.

you do have a point there but im just saying ive seen these games and thier graphics are no as good as killzone 2. but i do believe that developers are gonna release games as good as killzone in the future. check the real gameplay trailers on youtube thanks for replying

I still think graphically Killzone looks just as amazing as those games. But this game is still in pre-alpha and looks just as good as them. It can only get better near release date.

Killzone, not as impressive? This is Sony's boys workin' on it. Sony's boys.

We've seen what Sony's devs can do with Gran Turismo, Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, and others. If anything, KZ2 will likely use the PS3's power most efficiently above other devs. (At least by the time of release anyway)

Saying that Killzone 2 will be the best game to have ever been released on the market is a pretty bold statement but it does seem to be dead-on revolutionizing the gaming experience in first-person-shooters I must say.

I would not go so far as saying it will revolutionize the FPS gaming experience either, but I think it will really be a major hit. They are just working too hard on it to make a bad game, they really want to prove they can do it after the first one was so bashed on.

From what i've seen so far, Killzone 2 will not revolutionize the FPS genre. However, i do believe that the game is going to give the closest most cinematic representation to war.

I haven't played Killzone, PSP or PS2. I don't know much about it. I don't know if I like it. However I do know this; Killzone 2 looks very impressive. Graphics wise it looks very good, and if what some of the trailers have shown is actual gameplay then it looks to be on track to be one of the most glamourous games ever made. However, I rate gameplay over graphics, which is why I'm not to disappointed with Haze. So I'll wait and see if it's going to be a good game as well as a pretty one.

I think the title of this thread might lead to a little bit of an overstatement.

Course, we all that with all the time that FR was working on HAZE would make it a great game, but look at what happened to it. An excellent idea with a lot of potential turned into a truly mediocre experience. I hate to say that, but I rented it a few days ago to check out for myself and I won't be getting it anytime soon.

Just in case you guys didnt know, in the playstation magazine they interviewed like the peeps from killzone 2, they said quite a few things. One which caught my eye was
" Not only does the environment need to be destructible, but the enemies also."
Also stated that weather will have an impact on the way you play, and that there will be many different ways to take on a challenge. I know its not much, but from the sounds of things, it looks to be quite a good game
