Why is this going to better than Halo 3?

Cause Halo is overrated bullshit... Seriously the only reason people like Halo is because you could not possibly not have the game it was bundled into every Xbox package... Thats not the sign of a good game that is a sign of a developer desperate to sell a console, am i seriously the only one not to be duped into one of the most simple yet pointless FPS games ever, i mean there are hundreds of FPS's better than it, even Killzone 1 was better than Halo and i don't rate that game highly either.

The first Killzone was ok, I can't say anything about Killzone 2 until I hear more details about it.

I, personally, think Halo is a way overrated series. And before you say something like I probably haven't played it enough, I played multiple online matches, I beat Halo 2 on Legendary, I played a few Co-Op games and I even collected all the skulls and I STILL think it overrated. But since every college jockboy thinks it's the greatest game on the planet despite only have comparing it to their copy of Madden it must be the greatest FPS ever, am I right?

I'm sure you may ask if I don't like the game then why did I even go as far as to trying to beat it on Legendary. Well, as a gamer, lets just say you get this itch you want to get out of your system when you try out Legendary and the only way to do that is to beat it.

I'm not saying the Halo series are bad games (despite being heavily disappointed when my friend let me try out the Halo 3 beta), it's a pretty decent game, it's far from being "bad". I just do not see how so many fanboys cream their pants over the game. Same goes with Gears of War and R: FOM, I just do not see what people find so great about the games. They're fun at the beginning, but they get boring later on. I loved the first Halo, perhaps the reason is because I'm so used to playing FPS games on PC, hence why I'm really diggin' PS3's new upcoming FPS controller.

Halo's aliens attacking the earth wearing purple and green is really boring. The aliens look like jokes.

You play as a motocross uniform guy who only says two words at a time, and you shoot little ghey turkeys that really don't pose a challenge.

The multi player, yeah that's decent but the storyline just sucks.

I disagree with everything you just said and your post reeks of fanboyism. I mean...turkeys? Motocross uniform? But I can see there is really no way to change your mind.

Even if the graphics aren't that good, graphics don't really matter when it comes to gameplay. As long is the graphics are tolerable, it's fine.

Heroic and Legendary are pretty challenging. And do you do motocross (?) because that could be why you see MC in a motocross suit. I've never heard that beofore.

Did you read the the text below the picture? It says it is taken in-game. And please, don't call him a liar. It's pretty close to the beta's graphics anyway.

Actually I never heard him say that. The only thing I have seen of haze are the videos and some previews from websites.

And I guess I forgot to ad in my last post from all the tid bits of info (especially on how the engine works) we have been getting It seems like its shaping up to a amazing FPS. But I can't say much untill we see footage in a few days. But like I said, from what we have seen of halo 3. If it comes out looking like Haze it will be better.

That picture you linked. Probably how it looks like in a cut-scene. The gameplay graphics won't look like that. Also some of the info on killzone is they are using the cut-scene grpahics into gameplay. Before it was hard to get the graphics in a cutscene into gameplay but guerrilla studios said they did.
