tips on being an engineer

i was playing as an engineer for a couple hours tryin tounlock the repair ability, the only problem ive been having is my turret doesnt seem to kill any1 and seems to blow up really easily. i wud use medic but i like using the shogun.

can any1 give me any advice on where and wen i shud use the turret and wot i shud do once ive placed it?

I get loads of turrent kills. Put them up high;in nooks and crannies(that get a good view and alot of traffic); preferably by their spawn or by busy areas such as target areas.

The key part is to have them assist your team so your turrent isnt the only target to shoot at. Also if you can set them up higher it's easier for them to get headshots.

any good levels for turrets and what good spots, my friend told me one but i forgot which level

I found that if you are good enough and fight along side your turret, it's easier to get kills because you either weaken the target and your turret kills it or the turret weakens the target and you kill it.

And the high place tip works very well. One round, my turret got like 3 headshots.

Nope, they represent the remaining number of turrets which can be built by your team. Each team can only have 4 turrets running at any one time.

If 2 of the bars are shaded, and 2 are white, then your team can build 2 more.
