This isn't definate for sure, and I don't know if Oji is just a bad google translation xD but the way they use it to decribe him seems like it might be his name. Read their decription and decide for yourself:

Like the source mentions, I think this is simply a bad Google translation, I think they'll keep it as Nacht, much like they've kept it as "Lightning" it just suits the two soo much better. Besides, Oji is kinda pushing it with the names.

I also prefer Nacht. Hopefully it's just a mistake or mistranslation.

Yeah, it would be rather horrible if they switched to 'Oji'... Nacht is so awesome, that it can't be replaced now. XD

They better not change it, the name Nacht is awesome.

The name Nacht suited the way he looked and what his style of character would be.

The thing I'm worried about is that, if it is a mistranslation, then it would be something similar to 'Oji'.
Even a Google mistranslation couldn't mistake "Nacht" for "Oji".

Odd. Oji means 'uncle' in Japanese from what a Romaji Translator says.

Nacht was a lot of conjecture. I remember the original scans that surfaced said something about "Night" and Nacht was just kind of a message board generated name that came from that. I don't think SQEX ever even had Nacht under consideration. Oji is a good name to, I can stomach that a lot more than Lightning

I agree with BrokenKnights as cool as Nacht (Night in German)is Oji is still pretty cool. I find it a lot more reasonable than Lightning too, Lightning is too out there.

hopefully they dont leave his name Oji.....i mean i have nothing against it.....its just that its only three letters long........what other FF hero has a three letter long name? Plus his name should reflect him, dark and mysterious, not weird and short

Oji basically means gramps(old person) in Japanese.

So yeah...um, pretty much a fat chance there.
