	Since the last thread was filled with something I'd not class as discussion, I think it's about time the topic be moved to a more civilised thread, where stricter rules will apply than the last thread: READ THESE RULES BEFORE POSTING IN THIS THREAD Do NOT turn this thread into a PS3 bs XBOX360/PS2 thread. You can do that in the correct thread Flaming members is not tolerated anywhere on Neoseeker, doing so within this thread will get you an even lengthier ban, so please don't do it. Just because someone doesn't agree with your view that "it should go to the xbox360/it should stay on the PS3" doesn't mean that you have to flame them. Make your case as to why you think that should be the case, and if they still don't listen, think them a lost cause and MOVE ON. This thread is being created as a GENERAL FFXIII Multiplatiform, since most of the discussion and arguments for it going to the PS2 seemed to apply to the XBOX360 version as well (i.e. disc space), so feel free to talk about it going to ANY console, and don't flame those that want it to go to the PS2/XBOX360 If you want it to/dont want it to go to another console (or think that it will/don't think that it will) then rather than just stating that, give reasons as to WHY you think how you think. Follow these things and the thread will be a much nicer place. 	While it's entirely possible the Numbered FF's have always stuck with the Sony Consoles since they've been out (VII being the first on the Playstation Console)). Sure you Have Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube and a number of others on the Gameboy and DS but in all reality the only numbered FF's that have actually gone over to a non-sony console are the 1,2 and 3 remakes and VII Before Crisis and XIII Agito which are for mobile phones. 	You have to also remember that before FFVII, all the Final Fantasy games were actually on Nintendo consoles, and they then moved to Sony (since it had better opportunities and the N64 costed A LOT for just the cartridges). So if XBOX360 appeals to it, I don't think that they would think twice about moving, but as it currently stands I see nothing that would make them move to the XBOX360 completely, or to a lower extent, something that would make them want to port it. -------------------

	Well they also had to go to the Playstation because there was no possible way FFVII would ever be able to play on an N64. Really, that was probably their only reason for jumping ship. This generation, they have choices of where to go so they may go multi with it, but for the most part they like to keep their series' exclusive to the console they're currently on if they can help it. ------------------- Hey, at least I'm honest

	The playstation was the overall better choice, since the game wouldn't of fit on a single cartridge, and, as Krunal stated above, they were too expensive in comparison to CD's, and the Playstation is overall better than the 64 was. But with the disc size of the Blue-Ray, they could put out such a great game. With the 360 and PS3 being closer together in tech specs, the main problem with a multi-platform game would be the disc space, unless they went multi-disc.

	I do not think this title will be going over to the Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii based on the ground that they only FF game that went on to the 360 was a pure Online title, as this is not going to be I just cant see that happening. 	If that were true then they wouldn't have came to Sony in the first place. You have to remember that they left Nintendo and came to Sony for FFVII, and at that point, there were no FF titles for the Playstation, so technically it can happen again, but with the recent problems with selling Xbox360's with Blue Dragon, and with Last Remnant coming to the PS3, I see Japanese gamers waiting for the PS3 version of Last Remnant rather than spending money on an XBOX360 for simply one game (for the time being). Also remember that Square recently announced a new game for the XBOX360 (Infinite Undiscovery) which means that will be the RPG that they promised Microsoft, so I personally see FF as staying a Nintendo/Sony platform game (remember that they're developing many FF titles for the Nintendo consoles as well, however FFXIII cannot go onto the Wii for sure, since it's not as powerful as either the PS3 or XBOX360, just inovative). Hate to double post, but thought it was worth double posting (will merge my post once someone replies). Anyway, seems that exclusivity for the game has pretty much been confirmed. At the TGS 2007 trailer that was shown behind closed doors "The trailer ended with the words "For PlayStation 3 Only" appearing on the screen, stressing the platform-exclusivity of the title" [ SOURCE ] [size=1][color=#666666]This message was edited by Krunal on Sep 23 2007. -------------------

	For those with jobs, the supposed price reduction coming for the PS3 should make things less painful for those of us who'd like to see all the good games from the PS3 join the wider selection of great games on the 360 . I don't think Square should base such decisions on games such as Blue Dragon, that got generally low reviews and is nothing in comparison like their flagship FF series.

	^{Blue Dragon had all the makings to be a great game, but unfortunately it didn't live up to it expectations. Square thought that it would become the their flagship on the 360, but it fell through. 	Will you please stop bitching about the price? You live in America right? It's fecking cheap there! I don't see a FFXIII title coming to the 360 but in the future they MIGHT do it. They might choose to create a different FF, not a numbered one though, to make for the 360. ------------------- Infected Mushroom and Tiesto is like comparing cocks and vaginas. Both are awesome, but for two totally different reasons that come to the same conclusion.

	Why would they think that it would become THEIR flagship title? It's not made by them. The game was an RPG created by Mistwalker and published by Microsoft's. As such, whilst they were keeping an eye on the game to see if it sells consoles, they didn't want it to become it's FLAGSHIP game As for RPG's and XBOX360 go, Infinite Undiscovery is what they're hoping to make the XBOX360 sell consoles. It being a square title, it should sell automatically. How well is another matter. If it doesn't sell that many then there wont be much chances for sequels, but if it does, then I believe they'll try to make Infinite Undiscovery the next FF series, but on the XBOX360. With the two trailers shown at TGS2007 stressing the fact that both FFXIII and FFvsXIII are PS3 exclusives leads to the fact that they want to keep the FF series as a Nintendo/Sony exclusive. -------------------

	It may, since a lot of games multied across 360 and ps3 get better reviews on the 360. Not to mention, ps3's have a bad aura around them, next to no one is buying one. 	What are you on about next to no-one buying it? It's sold more consoles in Japan this week than the Wii has, and we all know how successful the Wii has been. With game develiopers such as Insomniac behind Sony and the PS3, I doubt they care much for the "Bad Aura" which is mostly due to not having that many games available for the PS3, but taking into consideration that in the past few weeks they've released enough games to make the PS3 worthwhile and then some. It's already in development as well, which means that it would take them far too long to begin work on the XBOX360 version, and I very much doubt they'd change their minds this suddenly, and I'm sure sony must be supporting them loads since PS3 + FFXIII = More Money for both parties. -------------------
