	Log in to remove this sponsored message Neoseeker Online Racing Tournament OK, it seems as though this forum is getting quite active in regards to the online mode, so I thought I'd organise this little tourney to help the community along a bit. Essentially, it's going to be a knock-out style Race tournament. We will be using the standard 'Race' game-format, as opposed to 'GTA Race'. We want this to be a test of who is the best racer, and not who can jack that Infernus the fastest. Here's how it works: Sign Up! Just post in this thread with your PSN ID and your CURRENT level. If it gets reset between now and the tournament, don't worry - just as long as you've put it down here you're fine. Allocated Into Races I will conduct a random draw which will place you in a race with between three and five other competitors, depending on numbers. Due to negative feedback, this will NOT take your current level into consideration, except perhaps in exceptional circumstances (eg. a Level 0 in a race with three Level 9's). Vehicle Categories Following the draws for races, I will then make a separate draw for racing types. You can end up in any sort of race, so be prepared! Racing Rules In order to ensure fairness, every race will use the same game rules. These include the time of day, traffic volume, pedestrian density, the racing circuit, and number of laps. Regardless of your race category, these rules will be the same. Let's Race! A time and date will have to be organised by the competitors in any given race. Presuming we get 16 entries, each race will consist of 4 competitors, with the top 2 qualifying for the next round. If we remain at 14 entries, one race will consist of 6 people, from which 3 will progress. The other races will consist of 4 people, one of which will have 3 qualifiers, and the other two. Round Progression As aforementioned, each round will involve a different racing category. Due to the level system, as you progress through the rounds, you will gradually be facing people with a higher level than you. As the numbers dwindle, so will the race sizes. For the semi-finals, we'll be looking at two head-to-head races. The final will obviously consist of the winning two racers, and the category will be agreed upon by both competitors, with myself acting as a mediator should any dispute occur. OK guys, that's basically how this works out. Sign-up here with your PSN ID and current level (or a higher level if you're close to the boundary), and any suggestions for race types will be gratefully recieved. I'll give a week to sign-up for the moment, and I'll extend that deadline if we don't have enough numbers. 	I think the level idea is the best way to give new players a chance, otherwise they could just end up in a race with the very best and not stand a chance. 	Can we not just do the same as what they do as in F1? Go around the tracks but have different vehicle classes each time. Points are allocated on where you finish.
