i was just wondering if everyone else thinks time goes too fast in the game. i was stood near the parish and the bells started to mark 11 o clock and by the time the last one rung it was nearly 12 o clock. also i was doing a stalk and this cop was eating a hotdog. in the end he dropped it after getting hit by a car but he was eating it for well over half an hour!

Have you played any of the previous GTA's? The time is actually a little slower in GTA4.Every minute was one second in previous GTA's, whereas in 4 every minute is two seconds.

At least I'm sure that's the case.

the clock in this gta is 2x slower than the old gtas. i would hate if it is slower because if you had to wait for a certain time to do a mission i would get bored waiting

It does go a little fast, but its not really a problem.

The only time it may be a slight problem, is if you take you time when picking someone up. Time flies and its too late then. But you should be able to make it if you stay on track.

The time in this game is slower than the previous ones. In SA, it took 24 minutes real time for one day in game time to pass. In IV, it takes 48 minutes real time for one day in game time to pass.

Other GTA: 1 real second = 1 game minute
GTA IV: 2 real second = 1 game minute

I think it goes too slow. Takes the piss waiting for some appointments. If I start a mission I loose it, so I just have to wonder around.
