100% Completion Checklist and Maps

This is a definitive checklist to achieving 100% in Grand Theft Auto IV. I've personally confirmed all of these tasks. Feel free to reply if you think something is inaccurate. There are gameplay spoilers in this thread!

Good luck!

I wasn't sure about the Most Wanted list. I just killed all the ones I have access to, which are the ones on Algonquin, Broker, Dukes, and Bohan.

Oh and great list. I put this into the Topic Listings.

Why are they hard? Are they difficult to find or do you have to chase them down and steal them from fleeing drivers?

re: 100% Completion Checklist and Maps

Stevie sends you a picture message that contains a photograph of a car. Alongside the photograph is a rough description of where the car will be. It's then up to you to find where that is and look out for clues in the image to hunt it down. The game notifies you once you enter the correct car. The cash you earn is relative to the condition it arrives in back at Stevie's garage.

Unfortunately it seems the only way to prompt Stevie to send you the next target is to let some time pass. You can get around this by saving the game.

Having said that, they're still fun!

re: 100% Completion Checklist

I get the feeling that perhaps the key to doing these scavenger hunt missions is to start them the moment they become available. This way, you can get them at your leisure, between other activities. I think that you are having more trouble perhaps, because you already completed the game and are at the mercy of when you get the pictures.

That said, Xanctuary, why don't we leave this thread for your original post? You can start another one for this topic, which I will immediately list in the TL.

Good idea. I'll add a map detailing the random characters to this thread once I get around to finishing them up.

I've added my best estimates for how much percentage each task nets you. Again, if you see anything wrong please point it out!

Nope. It doesn't matter which choices you make.

    quote Xenctuary
  • Set a time in all 9 street races given by Brucie (2%).
  • What does this mean, "set a time"? I came in first place in all the races I ran for Brucie, which I think is 6 so far, since I don't have Aldernay open yet. Is this good enough for the percentage? Or do I need to break some record or something?

    Edit: Another question:

    quote Xenctuary
  • Kill 20 criminals in in the "Current Crimes" side mission (cumulative) (2.5%).
  • Does it matter on which island(s) you kill them on? I only have Algonquin opened. Can I do all 20 now and get the percent?
