It's not just about the fact that its an Infinite that makes Infinites so feared. Its about how likely you are to pull it off. Do you really youd be able to get that off against a good Diddy. On a platform that small. And how likely itll be for there to not be a banana on that platform. You gotta look at the situation as a whole. That shit isnt like a D3 infinite of IC infinite.

This infinite's too situational.

chances are Diddy will not be affected by it whatsoever, but kudos to whoever pulls this off in a match.

TL now has other shtuff to worry about vs. Falco, since they've found an improved buffer chaingrab that works on him. along with that crap at pictochat that also seems situational.

D3's should be worried about that chaingrab too

The chances of that being pulled off are very low, there has to be no nanners on the ground or on that platform, plus why would the diddy just be standing there, waiting for you to jump up and grab him.

That's also false it just depends on who you are. For some characters with really short range on their attacks such as Squirtle being IGed is a constant threat you have to put out an active, conscious effort to not leave yourself open so you don't get grabbed. Play more sucky characters and you'll know. The thought of "1 grab = 1 stock" is enough there to mess with peoples gameplay. Not to mention one of the few things ICs are good at is badgering people with theie defensive mood set so that at some point you'll have to get close..I can't agree with your statements.

Long range is ideal. I will camp ICs all day with Grenades and constant U-Tilt threats. But not every character has that and not everyone is going to want to switch to a character that may not like just to avert one bad matchup. Its like this: D3 is my main's worse matchup. I have to worry about being CGed all day long and then Wall of Pain'ed. I can switch to my Falco or Diddy but I have too much pride as a Snake main. Diddy main AlphaZealot only uses Diddy even against Luigi and Falco. Some people are going to want to stick with what they know and I respect that personally. Long range is ideal but not always the option for some people. This game would just be like Melee if people go and CP characters all day long that are just gay or cheap. People do that enough in Brawl anyway thats partially why this game sucks so bad too. "Oh you picked Snake, I'll pick Falco and we'll to go Jungle Japes" Gay. Gay. Gay. Gay. I hate this game sometimes because all you have to do is change two things and winning because next to impossible sometimes even if the advantages are slight. Because as idealistic as we would like to be, its just too easy. All of it. Oh God I just rediscovered why I hate this game sometimes lol I need to stop doing that when I'm trying to get better rofl
