My good man you have created a fine thread. Im pretty sure Vh's thread or himself will be kind enough to answer these questions.

I've attended a small few, 1 big, and maybe a couple of small rounded tourneys. I placed 25th out of 100 in GIMPED (this was my first tourney) with pure Mario brothers. My good man, it's very gay.

One thing I must stress is, don't freak out about cash, don't be tired when IT IS YOUR TURN FOR UR TOURNEY MATCH! Don't waste all your energy on friendlies. Trust me. This is how I lost to MikeG on the first round of winner brackets. Because of how tired i was (johns) and i got raped by his mk lol.

Another thing you'll expect is heading to losers bracket pretty early espically considering you hold one of the greatest players in your state. Also expect a big name pro (m2k anyone?) in your either first or 2nd round.

who do u main anyways?

M2k, Inui, and ...? Those 2 are the only good MKs I could name from NJ.

Shadow...Thought he was G+W. And I know for a fact that D1 mained Falco for the longest time. Maybe he moved on though.

On the topic of me playing Samus...Well...Let's just say that she's only on request now. I'm between good and great with her and I've been compared to Sago and all that, but she's just not fun anymore.

Shadow uses Mk as well. I should know because I lost to him in first round winner brackets in doubles LOL along with Snakeee (best ZSS)

Yea You'll expect ALOT of NY-ers there. D1 is a VERY GOOD player. The reason you never heard of him is because he's a old school melee smasher that hails from Ny's original best crew DA. He's starting to place very consistent possibly top 5 ish? but yeah look out for him, he 3 stocked my luigi cakewalk=[

Expect Pierce (another a good Mk/marth from what i hear) and obv the best diddy that mains diddy ADHD there.

@Alkaid, D1 does main Falco. But he uses Mk,Snake,marth , D3 too as well. Pro players always use the top chars like der xD

Yeah pierce and ADHD where at the last two I think ADHD won and pierce came in like 5th or 7th. I wouldn't mind getting some tips on my marth from pierce. Who are you better with mario or luigi?

Fail, you expect powershielding everywhere. Even in friendlies. =/

@ Alkard His playstyle is very simple. Nothing too fancy or anything. He 3 stocked me by most powershielding (i used luigi) as Veggi said before (how did he know LOL). I would try to go all fancy with my buffering tricks or mindgames, but he was mostly calm powershielded 90% of my moves, lead it to chainspikes. Srsly, he's a simple but effective guy. Could be also luigi has really easy to read moves too as well.

@ AIM I use Luigi and Mario equally. sometimes ppl say my luigi is far better, the next day, ppl say my mario is better than my luigi. who knows? lol. Let the crowd the decide =]. But in majority, I'd use luigi more But you know im reaching for boss status <3.

D1 is really cool guy. :] Im thinking im expecting D1 tmr or satuday for my tourney.

edit: lol actually if u play wifi like me, all day and then moving on to offline, you'll notice powershielding is far more essential than everything. Trust me. You'll be hearing that PSing sound like god like in offline >.>
