Me- Classic Controller (ftw)
Friend- (Anonymous name) Gamecube Controller
Friend- (Anonymous name) Wiimote + Nunchuck

I remember reading a (short) article back in the 6th generation (GC, XBox & PS2) that Nintendo made the most comfortable controller...

But either way, GC controller > all

That was the developers' intention though, since they based the controls around it so that Melee players could adapt to the game easier.
It's one of the few things they did right

i use the wiimote mainly now but thats because all of my gamecube controllers are screwed up in one way or another.

I actually always found the Dualshock design to be the most comfortable for me, and the easiest to use. I don't like the Z-button on the GC pad, while the PS2 controller was always the best for me for sports and fighting games.

Classic controller it's the best.

I got 2 GC pads for me and my brother today, so much easier than playing with just the wiimote!

I love how the game for the Wii which was hyped so much and made the Wii a really desirable console for games to get, doesn't use any of the motion sensing or other things the Wii specialises in.
