I agree with Cloud on the ZT stuff. Really for B+ threads but other srs discussions also.

People just need common sense and to know what they're talking about.

I stay out of Brawl+ threads for a simple reason: I hardly know the game at all. It's a few hacks and the character selection screen is different, thats it.

If you have no knowledge on MK and his meta game, don't talk if he should be banned or not.

If you disagree with someone's opinion, simply say "I disagree" or something to that level. Flamming and trolling only makes you look like an ass, and everyone gets pissed at each other, and they carry those feelings into the future.

Someone actually tried to apologize in a thread they made, and what I saw was sad. He was shot down with sarcasm and jokes. Sure, he probably didn't need to make a thread saying he apologizes, but have some decency and leave the guy alone.

Yes and that is exactly why they still do it. If nobody replied or even looked at their stupid threads, they could be deleted by a moderator and forgotten about. Then they get bored and go off to another site to abuse.

Loungin' actually has five moderators at the moment. I guess its easier for them to keep the spamming,flaming and trolling under control then.

With that many eyes keeping watch, I'm sure that nothing slips through for too long.

Summer mod is the only logical solution I s'pose. Maybe breaks during the school years, but I HIGHLY doubt that it would be necessary.

Tenks, make threads that deserve ZT status a one warning only thread at the worst. Zero Tolerance is still the best thing to do I'd say, since every time we get into a serious discussion, it somehow gets ruined.

It's up to you of course though.

Exactly Shortman. This forum does a fair amount of mature members that have been around this site for a few years and could easily report the problems and let a Moderator deal with them.

And correct DXD. The difference between here and Loungin. Loungin stays very active. Even in it's slow days, it makes more than any forum on Neoseeker. While a slow down in this forum is pretty big. Plus the activity in this forum is unpredictable. It could be 275 one day and then 180 the next.

Not true. They may still have five moderators but it doesn't mean they don't have problems with that stuff too. Loungin is a forum that needs the attention of more than 3 Moderators.

The PPD needs to be high enough for another mod. Lougin's ppd is like 1200+ while this one is only a couple hundred where gotenks can take care of it himself has he had said and continues to do.

Loungin has 1500 PPD. The most this forum ever had was 600PPD and we had three moderators at that time.

Few years ago 275PPD would require a few Mods. But now it doesn't really. Plus I've been moderating this forum for over 3 years now, I know the members of this community and I have my own routine. So it's easy to manage this forum.

Plus anyone forget how I moderated Crews for a month with 800+ PPD by myself?

I do believe it's possible that the forum needs a second Moderator. I know I can handle this forum by myself when I have the free time. But a week like this does say it would be nice to have a second Moderator. Heck if I wasn't the Section Moderator for this place then I could have the Section Mod look over this place for me and I wouldn't have to worry. But like I said, I still need more time to decide if a second Moderator is truly needed. One week solves nothing.

I don't like the idea of promoting someone for a few months and making them demote. Plus they would be modding in the summer, so they would be do a fair amount of work to keep the place in control. I don't like the idea of demoting them once summer is done. ;_;

Well we can start with one warning thing. It would help. And if truly needed then we can slowly phase in auto ban if you don't follow the rules.

Not completely true. I make the final decision. But completely up to me. I also rely on the communities opinions as well and go to work with that. Hence why I addressed the issue.

You could always promote them as a temp, if needed. Just throwing my two cents. Yeah, I know. I must be pretty bored to be going through the Mod's Corner in the Brawl forum at 3:30 in the morning.
