How do u beat Tabuu? - Page 2

I mostly used characters with strong /\B attacks, like DK, Bowser, and Mario.

Sadly, I did not rescue the Ike trophy...

Yeah, I saw a video and the dodge thing does work. I however used Zelda/Sheik on Boss Battles on Hard. When he is using that wing attack thing just time her transform right before the first ring hits. She doesn't get hurt when she is transforming.

Gannondorf was my first character in the line up, his charge punch(B) takes out about 1/13 of his health alone which is great, Ike was another good character to use because his ^B does good damage while helping to evade some attacks from him.

I don't know why I'm saying B, I used the sideways Wii remote for all of the SSE >_<.

When I saw him introduced as Taboo, I was like "surely this can't be a new character." and luckily he wasn't. he's WAY too powerful to be able to play with. I barely beat him on normal, i think intense would be physically impossible.

i was impressed with some of his moves though, especially that exploding one that takes about 74%.

I used the characters I was best with, and Sonic for the hell of it, so...

I should've used "heavier" characters, but didn't think of it at the time. It's basically all about dodging. When you can't dodge, use your shield whenever you can. It'll come in handy.

I used link,Zelda/sheik,meta knight,Mario,bowser,and samus. this team worked wonders. Link could use his spin attack or shoot charged arrows when far and the grapple saved my butt lots of times. Like the other guy Zelda's transformation can save u from the sonic blasts. meta knight did real great with his tornado spin and screw attacks just as bowser does with his shell spin. Mario can coin punch him very well. but samus got 2 give her props her lock on missiles hurt him good,also da charged beam and screw ball. beat him with out a single side step... probably cause im not good with them LOL just focus on his movement and u can predict wuts coming

I beat him, but barely. I suggest that you use fast characters such as sonic, and kirby, because he destroyed my slow characters a lot faster!

Jump over his attacks, when he goes toward the center and does that ball of shadow energy, time your shield with the corresponding phase of attack. Or you can try my approach, try not to get hit, and land as much hits in. Don't go after him while he's teleporting, just hit him when he's standing still, but make sure to dodge his attacks if any are coming first.
