yes, the x-ray gun thingy. I guess the thermal visor wouldn't have much of a role in this game.

They are bringing back the x-ray visor because it alows you to see hidden platforms and stuff. The thermal visor, while having better visablility then the x-ray visor, dosn't do much.

So they probably made a cool new visor in the game. The hacking scanner or something like that.

The thermal scanner was good in cold climates to locate non-cold blooded enemies. But that's my opinion...

The 4 visors will be power, command, scan and x-ray.

They didn't give the name of the beam, they just mentioned it, saying that the x-ray visor will work in conjuction with the beam that shoots through walls.

Yep, it doesn't have name. But it certainly sounds very much like the Wave Beam from previous Metroid 2D titles.

Lets dicuss beams. What other beams do you think that they will use? The power beam of course, but what else?

Beams eh? I'm predicting the old beams to come back, so:

- Power
- Wave
- Plasma
- Ice

And when Samus is in Hyper Mode, she gains the use of the Phazon beam.

I hope they make all new beams. But I would like to see the plasma beam.
