	can someone tell me the story of metroid prime 1 and 2? I don't have one of these and I'm interested in their story -------------------

In prime 1 an asteroid hits Tallon IV bringing with it a caustic mutagenic substance. Chozo seal off the area so the substance can't infect and poison the rest of the planet. samus follows space pirates to their frigate in orbit around the planet and goes down to the planet to find out what they were up to and stop them. samus defeats pirates and fights metroid prime. in prime 2 an asteroid with phazon hit Aether long time ago and has even caused a dimensional rift. Two worlds now inhabit the same time and space. a light world, home of the luminoth which are friends of the chozo, and the dark world home of the ing who attempt to steal the energy of the light world to make their world permanent and destroy the light world. The dark world atmosphere is caustic as well and both worlds have spatterings of phazon. Dark samus makes an appearance. She is almost an identical clone of samus with phazon induced powers. Pirates are again researching the dark world and phazon but play a role in the background. 	thanks! I have only 2 questions left: 1:where did Dark Samus come from? 2:Why the hell did she come back in prime 3? did someone clone her or what? -------------------

	If you collect 100% of the items in Metroid Prime, you see a black hand raise out of the puddle of phazon left by the Metroid Prime after Samus kills it. It is assumed that this is Dark Samus, created when Metroid Prime pulled the phazon suit off of Samus at the end of the game. At the 100% ending of Metroid Prime 2, you see blue particles floating in outer space join together to reform Dark Samus, hence her appearance in Prime 3. ------------------- The Conduit \| Spyborgs \| General Wii \| MadWorld \| Fatal Frame 4

	1. Dark samus was born from phazon energy 2. In metroid prime 2 Samus destroys dark samus but he/she somehow survived and regenerated. and now he/she is back to take revenge against Samus. -------------------

	All the more reason why they should make a sequel to MP3. after all they did show a starcraft take off following Samus Aran (i think) in the secret ending after you have gotten 100%. so they're has to be more. -------------------

	nintendo and retro have both stated that metroid Prime 3 is the last in the prime series. There will likely be more metroid games but not any more that continue the prime story. ------------------- Confuscious say "Elevator smell very different to midget"

I think the 100% ending is a hint at hunters: 2 since Sylux was the most signifigant enemy you had in there and the ship at the end of prime 3 and Sylux's Delano 7 are almost perfectly identical. People say it isn't sylux because the Delano's edges are ridged but so was everything in hunters. To the few who haven't played hunters Sylux makes an appearance at the beginning of the hunters opening. And don't complain about the hunters storyline not being canon to the prime storyline. Fun Fact: The character Amy Rose wasn't canon at all in the sonic games and yet she stayed. : O Anyway Sylux Stole federation technology and stole a federation ship. Has a vendetta against the federation and against samus because she helps the federation. So sylux was probably a former federation member and they did something to tick him off. So he went and stole their stuff. If a hunters: 2 does come out though I hope the Shock Coil is replaced. short range taser is nice I guess.. Even when you have good range and a centered target, it still didn't seem to be worth using.
