Nero's Arm - Page 2

Well...what if you play as Nero the first half of the game and the arm gains more and more power which evwntually turns Nero into the main evil guy, and the second half of the game will be Dante fighting his way through the hords of enemies to finish what he started. Or Dante could reveal a truth to Nero about the clergy, causing Nero to team up w/ Dante. idk....but im crappin my pants over what the actual storyline is!

Do I want Dante to be playable? Dear God yes! I know Dante won't be killed (sorry I kinda forgot bout DMC2 while writing that post!) but I don't want him to lose to Nero in a battle! Sorry about the confusion!
DMC was always about Dante and that how it should remain IMO. I'm not saying get rid of Nero (in fact it might be cool to see Dante through the eyes of another) but I hope we get to play as Dante for a good portion of the game as well!

I dunno, it's quite odd. I mean Nero should be treating him like a god! Might have something to do with Dante's killing spree in the trailer!

This may just be me, but personally, I hope it isn't Vergil in Nero's arm. Don't get me wrong, I wanna see Vergil in some capacity , but I think they have the potential to introduce a brand new character here, and I'd hate to see that wasted on an already well-established character. It's kinda like Jester, to me, totally awesome character, but sadly since he turned out to just be the alter-ego slash scitzo-side of Arkham, it meant he had no real future in the series. I still love Jester, but I hope they don't limit the potential of this arm the same way.

All this speculation MAKES ME WANT IT EVEN MORE, the reason Nero (in my opinion) does not worship Dante is, A. he killed every one he knew ,B. he doesn't know Dante is the Son of Sparda. What I remember is that he had Dante and Virgil in secret and no one but the Demons who killed his mother knew where he lived and who he was. I hope that pic is Nero's Devil Trigger, its one of the better looking transformations into Devil form I've seen. That also looked like story board art, Maybe at one point the arm (after killing like three bosses) awakens to that new level of power and thus Nero has Devil trigger
