I’ve always believed that the powers of Sparda must have been split into two when Vergil and Dante where growing in mummies tummy, so Dante got the good powers and Vergil got the darker ones.

Due to my stupid Internet connection the trailer didn't load on the official website so I've only seen the noisy versions of it! So does Nero's personality resemble that of Vergil's?

I'd say it resemble an angry version of DMC3!Dante. He's nowhere near calm and collected enough to be like Vergil.

This seems to be the most logical way for Vergil to be in the game, as Spardacus so eloquently put it--both Vergil and the hand have an insatiable lust for power. I doubt there will be any other demon infecting the hand. Because if there is, where would Vergil stand in the game?

Well, no we didn't see him die, per se. But we did see him fall back out of battle emiting electrical currents, rise high off the ground in an ominous way while grasping his head in agony, then erupt into bright, swirling light, howling in pain. Then it suddenly subsides and he drops the second half of the medallion.

No, we didn't see him die. We saw him defeated. Atleast, we saw Nelo Angelo defeated. The spirit of Vergil could, and may, very well still be alive.

Yeah I imagined that too Gothic Girl, at that moment he could have teleported out since sometimes theirs normally a pile of ash on the ground if he had been vanished – well maybe I watch too much Charmed.

Personally Vergil must be using the hand to egg Nero on and basically using Nero as his pawn. Just like Arkham did with vergil and used him as his puppit, perhaps he’s takeing a page out of his book?

I just want to point out that the key to a good story is to create twists and turns, so we might be wrong and we might be in for a surprise when we get this game.

I don't thing is a good idea to bring Vergil in that way. Probably he is the final boss, we all know that he has a big role, so we can expect something like that. Thinking, I came with this conclusion, since Nero is a Demon Hunter maybe in one of his mission he get that devil arm fighting with a curse demon. Then he came to his home and he found out that Dante kills those men (I think they were Priest or something) and he voute for revenge.

i see wat some ppl are saying bout vergil being in nero's arm but wat if vergil did it on purepous to realy take mero's power with out him knowing to be some more powerful than dante but the game may do same thing differnt u never know till you play it huh.

One thing that also come up to me is Nero and Nelo both mean Dark in latin. And will Nero ever find out that Dante is actually the son of sparda? Shouldnt he like, bow down to him or something? And i think vergil would come in as a character in himself instead of being a hand.

Who knows if Vergil would even be in this game at all? Even Dante won't be a main character in this game so that probably means that Vergil wouldn't be in it.

What I think is that Vergil must be wanting to return to the human world because he is trapped in the material.

Vergil could have been transferred from the material world into that hand and that’s why dante kills the worshipers, because they are responsible for freeing Vergil from his hell.

I don’t think Vergil wants Nero’s body but I know he’ll want to use Nero’s body untill he seems fit to return to the real world.

But from personal opinion I think that woman would make a good mother for a child since if you think about it, nero has married that woman and its one way to transport the entity from Nero’s hand into that women, heheh.

Um i think Sparda is actually implanted into Dante's left nipple..Ive come to this conclusion after I uh searched for 5 um hours in DMC1. Remember that one cut scene where um Dante is trying to put on his clothes, you can clearly see Sparda trying to rip out of his left nipple! That happends when Dante gets the Sparda sword because um Sparda summons the sword from the right nipple and vergil comes careening out of his anus. This is my uh best theory to date, and I think you will all discuss upon this great conundrum. Please do not make fun of this theory, I tried so hard to come with it. I think Vergil may be in Nero somehow. I've seen the trailer and I heard Nero say:
