	are u sure that dante is older in 2 than in 4 because to me i think dante looks the oldest in 4 and in 2 he looks at least 18 and in 1 22 and 3 like 16 idk just my opinion

	I agree with you who are saying that Dante looks older in for then he does in 2, and about the part at the end of 2 hearing Dante's bike and Lucia running out to him. Though Capcom hasn't said anything about the timeline that I know of I am pretty sure it goes 1st the DMC3 manga, then the game, then DMC (along with the manga), DMC anime, DMC2, then DMC4 just b/c that seems right to me and if you look at things in DMC3 besides Dante's appearance, it does seem like it's way after DMC2.

The Timeline is 3, 1 ,4 then 2. The game Devs for DMC stated this. As far as how old they look. Honestly from the timeline in 1, 4 and 2, they seem to be pretty close together, until capcom says something about it. But the devs stated that 2 was the "latest one" timeline wise. -------------------

	Ok look you say dante won't return from the demon world yet at the end of dmc2 when lucia is sitting on dantes desk flipping the coin you here the bike outside ok yea if that is when dante is at his oldest during the whole series then it could possibly be lady but I highly doubt that and look there's opening from hell and the demon and under world everywhere so there's a possibility he will find a way out otherwise that's like saying the game would have ended from dmc1 which isn't that case trust I'm 16 and I love this game I don't stop playing it I notice every bit of detail so I know what I'm on about lol

	Ok here is the story in dmc3 vergil comes back and tries to open the demon portal. Dante whoops him and then vergil fights the last boss in dmc1. He lost of course. Then Dante fight the Nelo thig relizing it was Vergil. then dmc4 happened. After that dmc2 happened but I don't remember the story. So the time line is Dmc3, dmc1, dmc4, dmc2,
