That actually looks like its been used in Photoshop, because theres no actual showing of the face (that close) in the game and the graphics aren't that bad as on the left photo which is supposedly meant to be DMC4.

And if you look at this, zoom into the face, and you can obviously see no resemblance. I'm learning to use photoshop in college to graphics, and that picture is just of Vergils face with an effect ontop, spliced and added some element of DMC4, Nero's demon also isn't that dark of blue either, so don't be fooled.

I still won't assume that its Vergil until the next installment *stubborn*

I dunno I don't see it. On the topic of bringing Vergil back...I think it's possible. I mean we are in the realm of video games. It would be interesting to see how they would. This is the realm of the supernatural, Where even the most ardent enemies find a way to climb out of hell’s pit. Personally I would HATE to see Nero somehow embodying Vergil in any form. That's just lazy. I mean come on. Vergil deserves better than that to be reincarnated into a Dante clone. That would be really sad. About as sad as seeing another save the princess story.

Side note: I'll side with those who want the man in red back into the spot light where he belongs. Nothing wrong with going back to the basics. Nero had his chance to shine as the main guy, and he was pretty underwhelming. He failed to impress and the only thing he brought into the fray was his goofy little arm and a piss ant whipped attitude towards a boring bland female character who's just as "Mary Sue" as he is. His 15 minutes are up and he had his turn. Now let's get Dante back in the driver's seat. You know, the TRUE star of the DMC series? yeah.

Well I would rather have that than what we currently have as our main guy. I mean if capcom is serious about this whole Nero being Virgil bs, then someone needs to be fired.

I think the only real connection is that Nero wields Yamato, thus forming a similar DT to Vergil. In any case, there's a more specific thread for this, titled "Dante-Nero-Vergil Connection."

People Nero is not related to that badass mfer but I can say that Nero is in the Sparda blood line somewhere.
