	Wiki Pages Foxdie Log in to remove this sponsored message In the Trailer we see a vary old and sick Snake. He has a sudden cough fit and need to take some sort of medication. Could this be FoxDie finallytaking effect? I Solid Snakes time running out? So far everyone infected with FoxDie died in a very short time period. FoxDie killed Liquid Although both Snake and him where identical on the genetic bases. Why did it kill Liquid but not Snake? What where the last minute changes Niaomi made to the virus. Is the woman on the poster in the Coat Nioami Hunter? If you have read in the Darkness of Shadow Moses she was broken out of prison by an unidentified individual. 	With Snake's DNA, foxdie was programmed to have an uncertain "incubation time" so he would never know when he would die. That's probably why Liquid died and Snake didn't. And I do think that his coughing fit looks a lot like foxdie. I heard somewhere that quote spoiler snake won't die in mgs4

	My theory is that Snake broke away from his DNA (MGS2 Opening) and is merely surviving FoxDie due to will power, hence - "Live Snake... Live". Wasn't it confirmed his condition in the trailer was due to genetic faults? »SS«

	Yes. His coughing fit is due to his unusually fast aging, due to his being cloned (80's cloning technology was never the best). And I also believe that Fox Die hasn't killed Snake yet because of his will to live. Though it will catch up with him someday, he has postponed it quite a ways. Hopefully Naomi's presence in the game will shed some light on this subject. ------------------- TheLostWorlds.net

	Naomi said that Foxdie could kill Snake at any time. She gave him a wild card strain of the virus, the ultimate payback for when he killed at Zanzibar Land. Snake's accelerated aging started shortly before the Tanker incident. We are now seeing how seriously it affects him. ------------------- Hertha Uber Alles!

	I feel that FoxDie has little to nothing to do with this game, sure he's still got it inside of him, but I believe he's still got a resistence against it, and always will. Like SS said, it seems his health degredation comes from firstly genetic defects, and secondly him smoking. -------------------

	Thing is they haven't mentioned FoxDie in the whole of MGS2, and seeing how they didn't intend to make any sequels (i.e. MGS2) in the first place, I don't think they "planned" to use FoxDie in this game, however it very well could be that they do, but I'm not to sure it will be a major issue in the game. -------------------

	I think FoxDie will be a very major thing in the game. They can't just forget about it! It is a major question mark, and I too think that Naomi's presence will help some resolution.. maybe she developed a cure. I think the FoxDie is what is giving the coughing, because if you look hard, it looks worse then a cough, it kinda looks like a heart attack... does that ring any bells? Maybe even Naomi produces this shot he uses to snap himself out of it. But at any rate, it will definately be important.

	I think he'll give up on living once he destroys all the Metal Gears and gets rid of the Patriots. But he may keep the Patriots alive, since that is how everyone has continued living. -------------------

	If the Patriots die, then all hell will break loose. However disgusting the Patriots seem, the country wont work without them. And that would not be good.

	I really don't think Fox Die will have any part in this game. I'm sure the coughing fit was just to show how old Snake really is getting, who knows what the medicine was. It definitely was a cool idea in MGS, but at this point in the series I think it's long gone. ------------------- Hmm
