Could be one of those games that tells two stories in one, like it alternates between the past and present and links the stories together somehow.

Glad its Big Boss though, and not Snake.

That's what i was thinking Z fighter, though i wasn't going to make any over the top guesses. If it is, that means we'll see Snake returning.

It could very well be another prequel involving Big Boss and his split for the Patriots.

they state he played a roll in MGS , MGS2 , MGS4 there is only one snake that does not play a role in MGS and that is Solidus and plus the fact that he was burned to a crisp in 4 means it cannot be him that still leaves Naked , Solid , Liquid

Liquid was killed by foxdie although he played roles in 2 and 4 its all due ocelots psychic abilities so that cuts him out

the most obvious choice from the photo is Naked (BB) but they state its 7 years after MGS4 and he officially died in 4 after cheating death like 100 times and the translation states its not BB.

that translation says akiba might be clone but we saw his ancestor in MGS3 and although he did receive gene therapy in MGS it dsnt mean he is a clone and he does not suffer from age acceleration now only one fits all clues stated in the translation Solid 1.he is one of BB most recent clone because they are 3 clones no other clones were introduced and if they did im sorry horrible plot addition to keep the franchise going. 2.he suffered from age acceleration 3.he played a role in the mgs titles stated above

heres were you say BUT SNAKE IS OLD AND RETIRED if the translation is true then kojima lied to us flat out can we hate him for it no. At the end of 4 Old snake receives a new strain of foxdie one to kill the old one now could this new strain revert the effects of accelerated genes most likely YES! its MGS crazier **** has happened which would give us a young again Snake to make him look normal for his age which by now would be 40-50 if i am correct. what about the eye patch! well simple its been 7 years he could have gotten his eye blown out or just wanted to be a pirate what about raiden/greyfox

that would make the ninja raiden yes he did remove his cybernetics but he could have also reattached them in 7 years and the bandana looks very familiar to the one solid wears and he could have easily given it him to cover his injured eye.
