Hi Guys !! I have a question regarding the MGS4 Limited Edition game set, which is being sold at Gamespot.com..

My brother in the UK wants to purchase this MGS4 Limited Edition game set from Gamestop in USA..

Now I have two questions regarding the two documentaries that come in this set:

1) Will the documentaries be technically blu-ray movies ?? That is, when they are put into the PS3, will they be detected as a PS3 game or a blu-ray movie ??

2) If the documentaries are blu ray movies, then they must be region coded .... This is what is worrying my brother...the blu-ray regions of USA and UK are different.... So if these documentaries are blu-ray movies (and thus are region coded), which they be region free or not ?

In the above question, I know that PS3 games are region free...I am just asking whether the MGS4 Limited Edition documentaries be region free or not...

If anyone can help me out with this, I will very grateful

Unfortunately you'll be hard pressed to find an answer till people actually have their hands on the disc, but chances are that it'll show up on the 'Video' part of the XMB however (since they'll most likely be in an ADDITIONAL disc which are usually movies), I don't think it will be region locked, but I don't know that for sure, but if anyones gotten a two-disc LE PS3 game before they should be able to tell you in more detail.

They will probably be like the Documentation of Metal Gear Solid 2 which was basically a PS2 game, if so then yes they will be region free. If not then you'd have to wait and see.

so the U.S. gets an art book and the U.K. gets a figurine? thats weird why did nt they just give all areas both?
