I really don't consider this a spoiler since Kojima already said that all the characters who stayed alive in the previous MGS titles will be making a return in MGS4 but just in case.

Anyway Famitsu confirmed that Rosemary and Mai Ling will be making a return in MGS4 and here's a picture.

Glad to hear Mei-Ling is coming back though. She's awesome.
(I reckon Mei_ling looked alot prettier in her MGS1 codec picture ... Although maybe that's just me?).

Yes I noticed Mei Ling being spelled Mai Ling now, at first I wrote the original post with Mei Ling, then I decided to change it to go with the way it's being spelled on that article on other gaming websites.

They've actually just mistranslated her English name in the scan.

It'll still be spelt "Mei-Ling" in the game.

I thought Rose looked a lot better with longer hair, maybe its just me.

Yeah they both got uglier. Rose looks like she's from Silent Hill and Mei Ling just looks..completely different. Oh well, I wanna hear more of her voice - hopefully that hasn't changed

I wonder if the Mei Ling's voice will have the accent from MGS1 or if they've decided to remove it completely like they did with MGS: TTS.

We won't be playing as Raiden so I wouldn't be worried about that. I think Otacon will handle the codec as usual with Mei Ling and Rose having another part in the storyline.

Hopefully a part of the storyline that involves a big painful death!!!
