altair owns every1.... most of my hits ive taken down with just throwing knives some of the others (where i cant use em) use blend walk right up to their ass and then *GURGH!* hidden blade

i think the only match altair would have is the master chief but only because of his armour and shielding if it werent for that *throws knife* chief is KIA

Okay, i've just started reading this thread now. but for everyone who says that altair would kill link in a fight if you took away links magic, thats just plain dumb.

why take away another persons abilities they have? you can't take something away to even out the fight for altair. thats like saying Altair vs. a 10 year old. the 10 year old would win if you took away all altairs acrobatic abilities, his sword skills, his speed oh and his strength and endurance. lets take away his ability to walk while we're at it. come on

why take away someones unique abilities to make them a match for someone? thats just *bleep*ed.

By the time Masterchief got the motion sensor on Altair, Altair would have already found or made a gap in the Chiefs helmet. Fried

I don't care if snkae had all the guns in the world, Altair would still win because he's an assassin. He can be in plain view and still manage to remain unseen, by the time snake realized where Altair was he'd be looking at his own dead body on the ground as an angel.

Master Chief would beat him. Just throw on an overshield, add in a little invis. and altair is screwed. MC could even use the Sword and they could have a little sword fight. Then altair would be p0wned.

Snake would have this fight. Don't think so? Let me lay out the points:

Assassins Creed takes place in 1191.

Metal Gear takes place in 2005.

Altair is a trained assassin, yes. But, what of Snake? He's a genetically enhanced super solider, equipped with VI and field training. He's a mercenary, espionage expert, as well as an elite gunman.

The comprehension level between these two guys probably differs so greatly, I dont know if Altair would even begin to pose a threat. There IS roughly an 814 year difference between the two.

So with weapons? Snake winds hands down. That can be assumed.

Without weapons, in a flat, open environment? I still believe Snake would win. Both are trained in stealth, yes. But Snake is further trained in hand to hand combat, Altair would probably spend more time trying to sneak up, rather than duke it out.

It really just depends on who you favor more, I guess.
