	Log in to remove this sponsored message I think there is a battery inside the Wii that keeps the time when it is unplugged, but how long does it last and does it ever need to be replaced? Just curious. ------------------- www.neonshift.com

	I assume it's much like the internal battery in any electronic that somehow saves save while cut off from a wall socket, such as hard drives, in that they last an incredible amount of time. 	there is a screw on the bottom of the wii, and thats attached to a little door. the battery is in there. take it out while your wii is in sstandby, and you should keep all your data. its a standard battery. just be sure to back up your data before messing with any batteries you pull out. they may keep the juice flowing.
