E3 says it all : Wii is the best - Page 2

Wii Fit is overrated. However, it seems like some people need a video game to work out. Now if they made something like that for a sport like soccer or hockey. Just run in place to move or skate.

No new games but the original titles look sick and I wanted release dates on them. I can't really go as far to say that press conference was pathetic.

The casual gamer market is bigger than the hardcore one so wii will sell the most, but wii isnt for hardcore gamers u are correct there but just because it isnt doesnt mean its a failure infact Nintendo meant it to be that way.

I never said it was a failure kid. I know firsthand how well the Wii is selling since I work at Gamestop and have 50 people a day ask for one. What I said, if you have the brain to comprehend it, is that the Wii's library will fade until it is directed almost solely at children and casual gamers, while the PS3 and other systems will be getting the real shakers and movers of the videogame industry like Uncharted, Lair, Halo 3, GT5, GTA IV etc.

Also, I own both the 360, PS3, and PC, and while I want a Wii, EVENTUALLY (and 99% of that reason is for Super Mario Galaxy) I don't really want to spend the money until I see more than two good, story-centered games.

Nintendo simply can't ship enough Wiis out the door to satisfy demand. It's not like they're sitting on their hands, lazily putting out Wiis when they feel like it.

Wesk, seriously use what little brain power you have left and look at Nintendo's press conference. They showed videos of grandmas and parents playing the Wii and DS, that is why they're so popular (casual and puzzle games).

Hardcore gamers who prefer the game library of the PS3 and 360 will, yes. The hardcore gamers who like Wii's library will play Wii .

Same, but the pther way around. I own a Wii but plan on getting both a 360 and the PS3 soon enough, but only when I can scratch up the cash and I see more games that interest me. Im talking... RE5 MGS4 FFXIII, and at the time of the enevitable perminant price drop of the PS3.

Hopefully by the end of the year there will be enough on the Wii, its been a slow hardcore year.

That's not what I'm getting at, E3 is broadcast at an international level. Release dates for all companies should be a simultaneous affair. If you don't live in Europe don't try to give nintendo justification for their releases, it's fustrating, and it's pure hell, we get no say. And no mention. (for crying out loud, even IGN mistook a release date, labelling it a month later on the day it was released)

IIRC IGN = International Gaming Network

Now if thats true, it's slightly amusing, to say the least.

I was also very worried for that but atm, I'm not. The sequel to the Tales game on GameCube is coming out which I am really looking forward to . 80 hours RPGs always make me squeal ^^.

And then there is a game called Capucine, and while currently DEEP into progress it seems to be very promising and complex =>.

And then what I am manly looking forward to; Dewys Adventures!!! =D AAAH CUTE-NESS OVERLOAD! I am not sure if tis really is a game that would pick your fancy but meh ^^.

And then there is Super Smash Brawl, while not exactly story centered is going to be awesome, I bet .

And then of course, the Metroid games . Loves it ^^.

Finally there are a load of games that will come which may not be so deep and complex (Mario kart and such) but still is alot of fun .
