SPM and MP8 aren't really
very big first party titles. They still seem like great games, but for the really big first party titles, we'll probably have to wait for Metroid, Mario and Smash.
Regarding third party support, there are nearly 30 titles to be released by June, according to Kaplan. 30 titles is pretty good for just 3-4 months, depending on if she meant early or late June. The problem isn't that the system isn't getting support, but like all other consoles, most of it isn't very good early on. There are still quite a few really fun titles, though.

? Until Oblivion came out, there was absolutely
nothing I could recommend on the 360. There was hardly anything after Oblivion for a while, until the late Q3-Q4 period with big titles like Gears of War and Lost Planet being released. It has a damn good lineup now, but it had a very mediocre lineup around launch and for quite a while later. Again, until Oblivion, nothing, and after Oblivion, we still had to wait a while for the good titles to pour in.
The 360 was no exception to the typical lacklustre early lineup.

It's capable of pretty solid looking visuals. Not photorealism, but still solid. It has hardly been pushed yet, though, which is pissing me off. Games like Red Steel and Sonic looked great(well, RS looked great in
certain parts, anyway, but it was obviously rushed in multiple places) and both were first wave games, with neither actually pushing the hardware to the limit.
I don't think the graphics will affect many company decisions. The best part is, many developers are realising that exclusives will be best for this console, with both weaker hardware and a controller. That is why it is a perfect match with either a 360 or a PS3, which both share most of their titles. In fact, not having to use HD visuals and such makes developing games shorter and cheaper, so companies can bring out more titles. It's also good for small developers, which will give us titles such as No More Heroes, made by a nearly unheard of developer(Grasshopper) who made a generally unknown, yet critically acclaimed, title last generation(Killer 7).
