Just a heads-up to anyone who is interested, but the Godfather: Blackhand Edition has had a price drop. Considering the Wii has no GTA, the Godfather is a nice alternative and it was quite well receieved. It's $30 now in the US(in places such as Best Buy and Walmart), and $35-$40 in Canada (depending on where you go). Anybody who is tight on cash should be happy to see another great game at $30. Besides RE4, this is easily the best Wii game available at that price.

I'm definitely planning to pick this one up in the next few days.

Iwata recently had a Q&A session. Here is an interesting quote from it:

Well I didn't actually mean that everything is coming out in '08; it's just every time Ninty says they're going to do something it gets delayed. But I bet the September surprise is going to be out in January '08 >__>.

Who is getting/has Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn here?

Should I get it? I never tried a Fire Emblem game before, shall a "resume" be in hand here?

IIRC, Radiant Dawn is the sequel to Path of Radiance for the GameCube. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I'm going to goto GameStop tomorrow after work, and I'm going to get a Wii game, but can't decide which. >.<

I'll be trading in some games, including GH3 for the Wii, so here's some I had in mind, but couldn't choose. Also, I'm open to all suggestions. Any new ideas for a game I didn't think of would be great.

Zack And Wiki (if they have it, they didn't Tuesday >_>)

That's all I have, but yeah, like I said any other suggestions would be great.

Well, first and foremost, I suggest getting Super Mario Galaxy if you haven't already pre-ordered the game. It comes out this Monday.

Otherwise, I'd go with either Guitar Hero III or Zack and Wiki. Choose GHIII if you often use the Wii during parties (it makes a great party game), prefer music games or want a good multiplayer game (both offline and online) to play. Choose Zack and Wiki if you usually play single player games and prefer puzzle/adventure games over music games.

The other three greatly depend on preference. They are all good games, but you'll only enjoy them if you enjoy the genre. Mario and Sonic is supposed to be a good Wii Sports-esque game, Fire Emblem should be excellent if turn-based SRPGs are your thing (but only if you like the genre) and MySims is a solid Sims/Animal Crossing crossover. If you like creating things, that should be a good choice.

But again, the best two games there are Zack and Wiki and Guitar Hero III (although SRPG fans will love FE).

The game comes out Monday? Games usually come out on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I was just a bit unsure about this.

Officially, yes. Stores should all have their shipments by Monday, anyway. Some retailers put them up on the shelves right away and some wait until the next day to put it up on the shelves. It varies from retailer to retailer.
