Quick question guys:

The Wii doesn't require a memory card to save game files, right? Before I go out and buy a Wii and TP, I just want to make sure I'm not going to get home and discover that I can't save my progress.

No memory card needed. Games can be saved on the Wiis internal 512MB flash memory.

Just as I thought.

Yesterday as I was working at Wal-mart I happened to pass by the game cabinets and I noticed that a Sony rep had set up a PS3 display with a PS3 loaded with a demo disk that you could play. I watched someone playing it and, to tell the truth, I wasn't all that impressed by it. It was set up on an HDTV by the way. I wouldn't want to get a PS3 right now anyway. By the way things went, this release of the PS3 was a little rushed and I really wouldn't want to spend $600 on it only to have it break down or catch on fire. BTW, it froze up while I was watching. The employ there said that it was the first time it froze up, but this thing was just set up that day (Nov. 14). So now I'm wondering how well it actually performs compared to the Wii, graphics aside. Well I'm getting a Wii anyway.

Man by the looks of it Sony has been having some difficulties with their console or "entertainment system". Even though I would love to see every bad thing happen to Sony I don't want them to have too many problems, whether Nintendo wants it or not, their in a console war with Sony and Microsoft and I don't want Nintendo run away with it instead of having a good race.

Sony better start strong with the PS3 release only 2 days away.

I just found $20.00 on the bus yesrterday..

Iam going to buy a classic controll with that money..

I'll have to wait until Christmas, I believe. I'll have a pretty compact list for Christmas.

Guess what guys! TRL had the wiiiiiii on today. They gave away free Tony Hawk: Downhill jam games!

They showed how the wii worked too.

In my city's paper today, they had an article on next gen gaming systems and Wii, not knowing it's capabilities of course was placed in second, just behind the 360. Sadly, the PS3 was in third with a "lousy" comment about it's value.

Yeah, the Wii is getting a hell of a lot of advertising! Even department stores, such as Zellers, advertise "The perfect Christmas present" for the gamer of the family, which even they say is the Wii. Red Steel has been seen quite a lot(my friend saw it and wants a Wii now). I've seen it plastered over the news and the commercial runs like hell at EB Games. I took a look at some empty game cases a few days ago and I wet my pants. It wasn't urine .

I finally changed my avatar. Hopefully, I'll get a new banner up soon, too .

One thing about that article that pissed me off was that it still had the "kid style games" shit in the negatives. And it also said the Wii didn't have as great graphics when it doesn't really matter.
