The memory cards are SD. I believe Nintendo has an SD card coming out for $40, but you could always buy another 512mb for about $25 at Best Buy or your local electronics store.



Don't forget that the Wii comes with 512mb of internal memory and that will be plently for game saves and VC games at launch.

You don't need to buy a memory card at launch. The Wii has 512 MB on internal memory which is more then enough for game saves and VC games. But if you're planning on downloading alot of VC games (15 +), then you'll probably need to buy an SD card.

My parent's camera uses the same one. I'll just steal one. That way, it's free to me.

Well, you can hook it up with a wire, but getting the Nintendo Wi-Fi Adapter released for the DS(connected via USB ports, much cheaper than a wireless router) is not much more expensive and is more convenient than getting the ethernet port attachment. However, if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks, a wireless router is the best of them all.

You choose whatever fits you the most. If you have a laptop or anything of the sort, you should get a router .

I can use the same router that I use for my Ds with my Wii right? Or is there some special configuration that I have to do?
