I don't see how considering the Wii only supports 480p. It'd be pointless.

Sony have already said that they realised the potential behind motion sensitivity and they were jumping on the bandwagon - they basically applauded Nintendo for coming up with the idea.

There is a difference between jumping on a bandwagon and stealing an idea - the latter could result in a court-case. If Sony really did steal the idea per se, don't you think Nintendo would have had their say in it already?

phil harrison is a *bleep*. in an interview he was like 'well sony was the first to bring in fully-interactive 3d graphics with the playsation, but we dont say nintendo stole 3d graphics from us.'

for one, the playstation wasnt the first console to use 3d graphics. hell, nintendo's snes had 3d games. to add salt to the wound, it was nintendo that orignally developed the playstation to begin with, only later to scrap it and sell everything to sony. you could say sony had been 'stealing' nintendo's ideas for quite a while.

sony may not have literally stolen anything, but theyd like to have you think theyve taken nothing from anyone and thats everything is their original idea, and thats rather, well, an unsavory public relations method. sony has just grown too large an ego, relying on their past successes to sell their stuff. just look at their tvs.

wii sucks too. its a gamecube in a new case with a remote. if i wanted to play games that looked worse than the first xbox, id buy a gamecube, which ive done. i dont even use my gamecube anymore, i dont want two.

Wrong.

Nintendo wanted a CD add-on for their NES, and they brought Sony in to develop it. However, Nintendo decided to dump Sony and go with Phillips, and Sony went ahead and turned that add-on to the most successful videogame console ever. Sony didn't steal anything-- Nintendo just made the biggest mistake ever.
