According to Retro studios, Echoes used a different engine (or at least a revamped engine).

Well, revamping is all it really needs. I've never played Echoes, since I just started playing MP, which has been collecting dust, never played, since I got my GC two years ago ...I just realised I wasted 2 years of my life ...

Anyways, all it needs is a revamped engine, it doesn't need a new one. That would waste an awfully long time, we'd wait longer, and they won't focus as much on the game so they can meet the deadlines. The past engines were great, so it doesn't require a totally new engine, just some tweaks here and there .

That would be perfect I still think if they were going to launch in 07 they would make a new engine for it but they wont now since its an 06 launch.

I hope Corruption goes easy on my brain. I mean just getting out of school, I come home immediatly turn on Wii and have to strruggle through a level of Corruption? I dont think so. Maybe on the weekends, but it will be RedSteel or 360 on the weeknights.

I heard Corruption was going to miss launch. It was supposedly slated for a release sometime in 2007. But that was just a rumor last month.

Retro officially announced at E3 that the game would be a launch title.

Retro is promising. I can't believe their ability.

Nintendo is still being stupid neglecting to put in a hard-drive in a NEXT-GEN system, crap those are like 40 USD.

Lets see:
* Wii $275(at most)
* Memory Card $40
* TP, Corruption, Blitz: The league, Red Steel $200

damn, its still the cheapest though.

It's already been stated that the Wii will be below $250.

And all of the first party Nintendo games will be fifty dollars.
