RIP Nintendo Wii

It kind of saddens me to see these threads about how the Wii's on its last legs. I know we're moving on but it was so popular... and now its time, like everything must, is coming to an end. I know many will still continue to play the Wii, but with new and updated software and the upcoming Wii-U, Nintendo's work on the Wii is finally coming to an end. They've probably just about finished releasing games for the Wii now, and it is with that that we move forward into a new Wii generation.

So, anyone have any last words? Will you miss the days when the Wii was on of the most popular consoles around?

Ellipsis kind of hit it on the head. The Wii was a surprisingly good investment for me (who was initially sad after all my friends bought the 360 and PS3), as I squeezed hours and hours of fun out of games like Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, The Conduit, Zelda, Mario and Monster Hunter (to name a few). It really was an amazing console, and the purchase was more than worth it. But like all consoles, they're eventually going to get outdated. With the Wii-U I doubt we'll miss the Wii anyway. Future installments usually please me more, anyway. I've had my Wii for so long that change is welcomed.

Mine will still be staying quite active thanks to Last Story and Kirby Anniversary.

I noticed the Wii got less and less titles after about 08. kinda sad.
