Wii is NOT for Children

Have any of you ever tried teaching younger children to play the wii? It's the most frustrating thing ever -__-! And here everyone whines that this is such a children's toy.

My six year old siblings can't understand motion controls for the life of them, and Mario Kart is a whole 'nother disaster.

I know it is. Much more so than some of the other consoles, so I'm mainly joking with that. But having kids play the Wii isn't as easy as it sounds, so I was wondering if any of you have personal experience with that. ^~^

It's not as much for kids as it is for the whole family. Family doesn't automatically mean kids. It means there's something for everyone.

Shame that's seen as an insult. Poor self-conscious gamers.

Not that this is indicative of only the Wii though. Getting someone inexperienced with gaming to play is often a massively painful endeavor. Watching someone spend 30 minutes failing at something you can do in 2 minutes is torturous in any game.

Poorly designed motion control, sure, just like poorly designed regular controls are random button mashing.

WII IS FOR BABYS,so i ask why,they say;BECAUSE ALL IT HAS I MARIO AND ZELDA BULLCRAP.i ask what they play,BLACK OPS DUHUHUH.

The stupidity of fellow classmates.

My three year old can play Mario Kart. Granted she comes last (a couple of times she came 10th) but she is starting to control it much better. Anyway its down to whether you have it in you or not I think. Some people are good at being gamers and some aren't!
