I like the slider on the 3DS, just wish they had put a second one on it for the sake of having it. I also think it makes sense on this controller, since you may need to hold it at different angles for different purposes. It's also a bit easier on the thumbs, rather than having to hold them slightly elevated.

Really, I'm pleased with the system entirely save the lack of a game lineup so far. I know its far out yet, but I'm ready to know all and throw my preorder down.

I'm really hoping third parties step it up at release and put together some enhanced compilations of their HD games, rather than just porting what they have now over and wondering why Nintendo's hand crafted content pummels them. Specifically, I'd love to see a Batman Arkham Combo with full U controls and Assassin's Creed 1/2/Brotherhood/Revelations on one disc, since they have such a high capacity. Be a great way to entice buyers into the games by giving you a high perceived value at very low development costs, since the games have already recouped their development budgets with their 360/PS3 releases. I'm trying to think of other 3rd party games I'd like to see, but honestly I'm having trouble. Let me think about it a bit longer.

Oh, and Ubisoft. Don't screw us over again. Your Killer Freaks game better not be another Red Steel, or I'll do something very unnice.

I'm sure there is a way to use the 3DS as a WiiU controller. So if the current possiblities weren't already enough, here you go.

Iwata said no 3D. I'm sure they could release and update later on, but they are using the same logic as not putting HD on the Wii in that most people don't have a 3D TV yet.

I'd be willing to bet OoT will make it on U at some point. It's been on every Nintendo console since its release, afterall. I also imagine that the VC won't be going away anytime soon.

To me, 3D is far more impressive than HD ever was. It actually feels like an advance rather than a marginal improvement, and I can't wait for glasses free tech to become commonplace.

I hate 3D. I find it gimmicky and distracting in a lot of games. It also hurts my eyes and it sucks having to wear 3D glasses on top of normal glasses. I thought HD was a huge improvement though over SD. It's much crisper and nicer. I played through KZ2 is SD and was blown away. I played through KZ3 in HD and my mind could not process how nice it looked.
