	With that screen, battery is going to die fast. Also, if you figure those times when your into a game and you play 3+ hours, you dry up that battery way too fast for my liking....that's a good point. ------------------- This is a signature.

Motion controls, graphics, online store to purchase games, etc. The Wii U is all the same but for the fact it has a bigger, possibly more inconvenient, controller. Except the Wii is literally the GameCube with motion control, shitty online, and better discs with no change in graphical power, it's just devs actually TRIED on the Wii. The Wii U has everything the wii does except the GC backwards, which was replaced with Wii backwards, online that according to Nintendo will be better overall, a new Blu-Ray rip-off allowing for even more space, MUCH better graphics, keeping the motion control for Wiimotes and the CC if you don't want to use the new one but adding a monitor into a main controller as to let you play the system without the giant TV. The Wii U seems to be adding a lot more and upgrading than the Wii. Try harder next time.

	The controller isn't actually doing any of the processing work, that's all handled by the console. The touchscreen and the wifi are pretty much the only things drawing power inside the controller, so I imagine it could last a great deal longer than the 3DS.

	Nintendo 3DS Operations Manual, Page 90: "Battery packs become worn with repeated charge/discharge cycles, and the amount of time they can be used when fully charged will decrease gradually over time. If you feel the usage time has dropped off noticeably, replace the battery pack..." I think for Wii U, you have to replace the battery pack fewer more times than the Nintendo 3DS. -------------------

	They don't drain nearly as much when off as they do when on, but after like two weeks they've lost anywhere between half and all of their battery power in my experience. That might be because I use rechargeable packs, though. I have one with actual batteries in it, and that also runs dry being off, although that one takes longer to die.
