Touch control is totally imprecise. All you've got is your own fat fingers obscuring whatever you're pointing at, the rest of your hand covering at least a quarter of the screen, and unless the buttons are either massive or well-spaced (either wasting precious screen real-estate) then making precise selections will be tough.

A keyboard it ain't. I don't think it will be big for RTS.

For people like us, diehard Ninty fans, we obviously know they're totally different consoles. But, I know hamany hardcore gamers that aren't big Nintendo fans (i.e sold the Wii, bought PS3/360/upgraded PC) that are still confused as to whta the 3DS is. As in, they think it's just the ability to play DS games in 3D, not a whole new console. WiiU has that same abiguity about it.

I agree, but also think if your that stupid then I don't want you on my console anyway. These are the same people that keep shovelware makers in business.

Also, some internet goers are calling the controller the Umote. I personally like Wiipad better.

I would agree, except these guys are hardcore gamers. Not Nintendo hardcore, the other hardcore, as in Fallout, Oblivion, Mass Effect, StarCraft, Diablo, etc. And they do like Nintendo games like Galaxy and stuff, they just dont think the Wii is worth it to them, but they still know all the gaming news, updates, etc like we do. Point I'm trying to make is that because they never clicked for "more information" on articles on IGn like "3DS released last tuesday" or whatever, they assumed it was just the DS with 3D, another Dsi or DS XL.

Anyway, how is the console spelt? WiiU, Wii U, or Wii-U?

The 3DS I am ok with, but yeah including the name Wii in it is just really stupid imo, makes it sound like more of an upgrade than an actual new console.

I mean it works (well worked, PS4 is not a good name) for Playstation and Xbox because it is numerical and Wii isn't a title that works well numerically either, it should have just been a standalone one-time name.

Do you have a source for this? If so, I'll be pleased. Looks like Nintendo knows what they're doing this time around.

Also, I think I like the sound of the WUmote.

That's what I'm waiting for, is the announcement of the online system of the console and just media as a whole since the Wii blows for all of that.
