	is it bad? god it makes look red steel 1 crappy VA to be one of the best VA of the world (as a side note, the PAL-Spanish VA is miles better due to the actors actually putting emotions on the voices, still talking about red steel) there is an undub version but you need something and neogama/coverflow to use it or you need to have modded the wii with a chip, i dont use it either as im not interested on it, im rather trying to unlock the last arena battles ------------------- Support the Last Story wiki! 	what you guys find so interesting about DQ9? im playing it, but i dont see whats so great about it, the plot reminds me of an excuse plot, the game play is fine but it gets boring after a while, the customization is interesting yet is limited to what you can buy or find from enemies, i find it overall a decent game but it lacks of the pull of DQV which i play rather casually but comparing there are stuff that can be improved and made better. the whole 'immortal boy who has this awesome powers falls to earth and loses it all and needs now to gather a ton of stuff to regain powers again' seems like a excuse pot to me and worse that you have an annoying fairy to remind you all the time your mission is to get that stuff makes the MC look a manipulative bastard who in reality does not cares about the events around him but rather he only wants to gather and go back to his 'home' and that DQ has traces of cristian religion does not makes it better by adding angels to the game. ------------------- Support the Last Story wiki! You seem to be overlooking the fact that the games puts more emphasis on its multiplayer aspects than it does character and plot development. That was SE's reason for developing it for the DS, so players could interact with one another and make use of the device's awesome wireless capabilities. From what I understand, they weren't planning on developing the next generation's love story to begin with. They have the Final Fantasy series for that. That's not to say it doesn't have a decent background, however compared to most modern day RPGs (with their sappy love connections and overplayed personae) DQIX is pure gold. Very few games, much less handheld games, have provided me with the enjoyment this game has, mainly because there's so much freakin' shit to do. But I guess some people can't appreciate classic RPGs, like granddaddy DQ. ;o slinks back into the shadows

Sometimes less is more, FF13 has a good plot but I don't feel like finishing it as of right. (I rather play DQIX over FF13)

	If you're suggesting at all that DQIX is bad --- Stories mean shit in games unless they're Visual Novels or the like, the gameplay is better than the more recent Final Fantasy bullshit (Like Final Fantasy XIII, "Hold your hand through a poor story" Edition), I find the customization better in this than any other game I've played, and DQV is pretty good but the battle system was much more limited, the only real customization is who your wife is and your kids hair colors. --- Mod Edit: Aug 13, 10 by Akira_EX
