Is it time to finally get a Wii or wait till after E3?

Hey everyone, Ive been on neo a longtime and I respect member feedback. I just got my quarterly bonus at work and I really think its time to get a Wii. I already have a xbox360 and a PS3. Figured id put that out there so no one tells me to buy one of those consoles first.

So first off I know that there are some great games on the Wii and some shovel ware. I am a hardcore gamer but I also enjoy casual games. I have played the Wii before at friends houses but it was nothing more than Wii sports. So is the Wii worth the $199USD? I saw on gamestop.com if I get the black console it comes with Wii Sports and Wii Sports resort.

Also I know that you can download some games on the Wii, like older Nintendo games. Is there a large choice of games to download?

These are the games I was going to buy when i pick up the system, i wanted your opinions on them, and if u had any other suggestions: Super Paper Mario, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, House of the Dead Overkill and Madworld.

Finally, does anyone think Nintendo is going to announce a new console at E3? Or does anyone think Nintendo is going to announce a price drop for the Wii? So final question, should i wait to buy a Wii till after E3, or pick one up asap?

Didn't that $200 price only happen recently as well? I don't think we'll see a new console or price drop for the Wii.

But yes, I think it would be a good time to get a Wii now. Or wait until E3 ends which is not far off since E3 starts Monday. But get the deal with the Black Wii and the two games and stuff, it is a good time to pick up a Wii imo.

I'd just wait till after the E3 since it's very close. But if you were to buy a Wii I'd suggest buying Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Monster Hunter Tri. And I believe you can buy MadWorld brand new for less than 10 bucks now.
